UK based iRight has released RuralTunes 1.0 for iPhone and iPod touch. RuralTunes is a new application for the experimental musician on the Rural Electrification Administration. RuralTunes gives fans access to 5 exclusive new tracks, an in depth biography, 12 new photographs and up to date information via the REA Twitter feed and MySpace page. RuralTunes is powered by BandKit, a powerful new promotional tool designed to connect artists and musicians to their audiences.

Bangkok based Viqua Games has released iWordz 1.0, their new Hangman styled word game for iPhone and iPod touch devices. iWordz is based on the classic Hangman game with a twist. It requires players to view the definition of a word, and then work towards uncovering the actual word itself. iWordz includes a database of over 12,000 words and supports OpenFeint online highscores.

Open Door Networks Inc. today announced that it is shipping a major new application for both the iPhone and Macintosh. “Art Authority” represents the most comprehensive member of the company’s line over 100 iPhone apps, and the first member of that line brought back to the Macintosh. The app’s 1000+ artists and 40,000+ works of art are by far the most available for either platform. A release for the iPad is also planned.
